It has been a while but I will give it a go again.  I ask a simple question why do we tolerate pettiness?  I asked AI and one response is the the "we" fear an alternative.

What could the alternative be as opposed to current leadership?  Is it wrong to wish for respect? Respect for life, for rule of law, for decency and human kindness?

Is it unreasonable that we expect our country's leaders to respond to the needs of  all Americans?  Common belief today carves an image of elected congressional leaders working to enrich themselves.  Maybe this has always been the case.  But why is it so brazenly rubbed in our faces?  I don't have answers.  I have questions.

I questioned leadership's responsibility to the needs of all American's and if we follow basic human needs, it safety, food, reliable shelter, meaningful work...a fundamental opportunity to provide opportunity and legacy for our children to build upon.

How does tearing down a part of the White House to build a ballroom accomplish or even bring us closer to such a goal?

We are not afforded hope, instead we are fed grandiose empty promises.  I hesitate to refer these grand statements as promises because they are simply untruths.  POPULARITY SLIPS,  promise something that  cannot be delivered except as a sound bite.

Sound bites, nothing more than political currency.  Try accomplishing something meaningful that is also political currency, it just takes more time and effort.

America has experience great leadership...just not currently.

It's OK to pray for something better, it is better to offer good deeds , good words and good thoughts.
